Our extensive dance class offerings include an exciting deep dive into the world of Contemporary dance. Focused on the technical and choreographical aspects of this style, they are geared for all levels of students. Whether you are an Advanced student looking to fine-tune your technique, or a new student looking to explore this genre, this is the perfect place to begin or continue your journey. Students in the style and technique classes do not perform on stage.
Contemporary
Breath, flow, momentum, release and moving seamlessly through the floor are some aspects that we will explore in this class. We will also focus on the emotional quality of the movement, and on finding different textures within the dance. The class consists of an intensive warm up, progressions and culminates in the learning of choreography.
